The celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation was held on 15th May 2022, Sunday at Our Lady of Perpetual succor Church, Nirmalpadav at 8:30 am.

Most Rev. Dr Gerald Issac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi along with Rev Fr Denis Dsouza Parish Priest ; Fr Denis Lobo, Pillar Fathers and Rev Fr. Rakesh Mathias, CSsR concelebrated the Holy Mass of Confirmation. In his homily, the Bishop highlighted the significance of the Sacrament of Confirmation. He said that the Sacrament of Confirmation sanctifies, empowers and prepares the faithful to face the spiritual challenges of life. The Sacrament of Confirmation makes us the temples of the Holy Spirit. The Bishop spoke on the 7 gifts and 12 fruits of the Holy Spirit which are gratuitous to live a life of holiness. 23 children received the Sacrament of Confirmation on this day.

At the end, Rev. Fr Denis Dsouza greeted and thanked the Bishop for officiating the Sacrament to the children. He also thanked everyone involved in preparing the children for confirmation. He congratulated all the children on receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation.
