Maundy Thursday was observed in Our Lady of Perpetual Succour Church with great devotion and fervour on 18 th April 2019 at 6pm.The day also observed as a day of Priest .

Rev fr Mark Dsouza,the rector of the minor seminary, Pilar Fathers, kuntibail, Miyar officiated the ceremony.

The homily was highlighted with the reflections of service, priesthood and the christain centrality of eucharist.

During the ceremony, there was washing of the feet of twelve chosen from 5 wards.

More than 150 faithful participated in the eucharist. At the end of the mass there was reflective adoration recalling the the passion and last hours of Jesus in Gesthemony

After the mass , the Eucharist was placed on the altar of repose .

The three day celebrations of the Easter which signifies “ Triduum”, remembering the last supper , The Crucifixion and the death of Jesus Christ and Resurrection to new life
