Senior Citizens' Day was celebrated at Our lady of Perpetual Succour Church, Nirmalpadav on Sunday March 31st , 2019.

The program began with the Eucharistic Celebration. Parish Priest Rev. Fr Vincent Lobo celebrated the solemn mass at 10:30 a.m. and preached an inspiring homily. Before the mass , sacrament of confession was arranged to all the elderly people in the parish.

The cultural program began with a short prayer. This was followed by games. Nearly 42 elderly people were present . The family commission organised this elderly day.

On this wonderful day one could witness the enthusiasm and energy of the senior citizens as they celebrated the day that belonged to them.

Mrs Felcia Periera compered the programme and Fr Vincent Lobo proposed the vote of thanks. The program culminated with a sumptuous meal. It was appreciated and relished by all.
