The fifth day of novena to mother Mary on behalf of Monthi festh-2015 was held on September 3 2015 i.e. Thursday. Mass started at 8.15 a.m. with many children and adults attended on day 5 after the mass, Parish Priest, Fr. Vincent lobo, conducted a prayer service. Fr Vincent Lobo preached the homily.
Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men(Philippians 2:3-11,Holy bible) .

Theme for day 5: “Mori amka devaso mog karunk shikaitha”
Pray and seek for god, we have to be humble and kind in the society, Possessions and richness might not be everything in this society, but the way we live with our neighbors, how we love them, will show how truly we love Jesus. Many devotees were present during this occasion.
After the mass, novena prayers were led by our parish priest. Little children’s and adults gathered near grotto of Mother Mary by singing, “Sakkad sangatha melya” reciting novena prayer, at last sweets were distributes to all who were present for novena service.
O Most Holy Virgin Mary, Lift up your children with love and joy.
