The summer camp for the children of Nirmalapadav, Parapady was inaugurated on 11th May 2014. The camp was organized by six commissions of Parish Pastoral Plan under the able guidance of Parish Priest and leadership of Brother Canute.
There were 20 students from 5 wards of 4th to 10th standard. The camp was inaugurated by Mr Ronad D'Sa, the coordinator of Family Commission. There were six talks conducted by parish resource team:

Vocation by Br Canute
Health and Hygiene by Mrs Sharmila Castelino
Government Facilities by Mrs Felcia D'Souza
Media b Ms Preethi D'Souza
Liturgy by Ms Joslin Lobo
The ICYM members conducted action songs and games to the children and made the whole camp more lively. The commission members of Family, proclamation, education, social communication, health, catechetics and seminary formation assisted in food arrangements and organization.
The whole camp was a memorable event for the children to spend two day together enjoying, learning various aspects of life.
